Morgan Howell transforms some of the world's most iconic 7-inch record sleeves into extraordinary wall sculptures, painstakingly recreating every crease, tear, handwritten note and sign of wear by hand. Enlarged to monumental scale, these familiar objects become powerful works of contemporary art, celebrating not only the music they once contained but also the personal memories they hold.
Featuring original wall sculptures, supersize editions, oversize editions and silkscreens, the exhibition celebrates the artwork behind some of the most influential records ever released and the stories they continue to tell.
For this exhibition, Gallery 1 becomes the Viewing Room and Listening Lounge, where visitors can experience Morgan Howell's remarkable work while enjoying a carefully curated analogue soundtrack played through beautifully restored vintage hi-fi systems, supplied by our Official Analogue Audio Partner, RPM Analogue Audio Ltd.
The exhibition is also proudly supported by our Official Collection Display Partner, TuneTables, creators of Flight Cases Reimagined – beautifully crafted storage furniture for vinyl and CD collections, perfectly complementing the celebration of music, collecting and design.
