Reuben Colley Fine Arts are proud to present an exhibition of drawings and paintings by James Byrne.

These paintings derive their expressive power from a combination of direct experience recorded by numerous drawings in the Peak District landscape, and the painterly process in the studio where they are painted. This combination of observation, memory, imagination and process combine to produce dramatic work which sits in the romantic expressive tradition.
