Danny Howes 'highly commissionable' - sky arts portrait artist of the year
Danny Howes was described as 'highly commissionable' by the judges of the Sky Arts Portrait Artist of the Year.  One of just three finalists, Danny painted a major full-length portrait of Sir Kenneth Grange for the Design Museum.  In the final itself, broadcast on 20 March, Danny produced a portrait of Emili Sande in just 4 hours.  While the prize went to another finalist, the judges named Danny as the most 'commissionable' of the contestants.
